BUTTERS
  • COCOA BUTTER:  is the natural fat extracted from the cacao bean. The moisturizing abilities of cocoa butter are frequently recommended for prevention of stretch marks in pregnant women, treatment of chapped skin and lips, and as a daily moisturizer to prevent dry, itchy skin.
  • SHEA BUTTER: can provide relief from everything from just dry skin to many minor dermatologist diseases. It has been clinically shown to provide benefits. Here are some of the benefits of Shea Butter for the skin: dry skin relief, stretch mark prevention, softens tough skin on the feet, helps to even skin tone and many more.
  • MANGO BUTTER: has been traditionally used in the rainforest and tropics for its skin softening, soothing, moisturizing, and protective properties and to restore flexibility and reduce degeneration of skin cells. Some additional benefits include: treating dry skin, helps heals sunburn, fights frost bite, fights off fine lines and wrinkles as well as many more.
OILS
  • SWEET ALMOND OIL: is one of the most popular vegetable oils which is also used in aromatherapy and skin products. The oil is easily absorbed and serves as a great emollient, by lending a soft glowing beautiful touch to the skin. It balances the moisture in the body. In case of loss of moisture, it helps to restore it. It makes a great lubricant, thus aids in combating itching and inflammation. It is an excellent natural moisturizer that is suitable for all skin types.
  • WHEAT GERM OIL: is a highly rich unrefined oil that is one of the richest sources of Vitamin E, A and D. This oil is widely used for external application, as it helps a gread deal in getting rid of skin irritation including skin dryness and cracking.
  • APRICOT KERNEL OIL: is sought out for its high vitamin E content and skin softening properties, apricot kernel oil is known for its ability to penetrate the skin without leaving an oily feel. Since it easily penetrates the skin, it is a good oil for prematurely aged, dry or irritated skin. The excellent softening and moisturizing properties great for face, hands and hair.
  • COCONUT OIL: is excellent massage oil for the skin as well. It acts as an effective moisturizer on all types of skins including dry skin. The benefit of coconut oil on the skin is comparable to that of mineral oil. Further, unlike mineral oil, there is no chance of having any adverse side effects on the skin with the application of coconut oil. Coconut oil therefore is a safe solution for preventing dryness and flaking of skin. It also delays wrinkles, and sagging of skin which normally become prominent with age. Coconut oil also helps in treating various skin problems including psoriasis, dermatitis, eczema and other skin infections.
  • JOJOBA OIL: provides all day moisturization and doesn’t evaporate like water based moisturizers can. It is theorized, but not yet proven, that because jojoba oil is so similar to human skin oil, it can "trick" the skin into thinking it has produced enough oil and thus balance oil production. It also spreads well and absorbs well into the skin.
  • SUNFLOWER OIL: penetrates the skin well and does not leave a oily residue.
MISC. INGREDIENTS
  • ALOE: The Aloe Vera plant has been used for thousands of years to heal a variety of conditions, most notably burns, wounds and skin irritations.

PRESERVATIVES
  • POTASSIUM SORBATE:  is used to curb the production of yeast and mold in numerous foodstuffs. Cheese, yogurt, dried meats, apple cider are some of them. Another range of products which normally have potassium sorbate are herbal dietary supplements. Addition of potassium sorbate to foodstuffs increases its shelf life. It can be fully digested and is polyunsaturated fat which is odorless, colorless and tasteless. As a preservative, it can also replace sulfur dioxide, which has an aftertaste as a result of sulfur dioxide.
